‘Do you mean Mr Pearson, the archaeologist?’ asked the manager.
‘Yes,’ replied Salahadin.
‘I’m sorry. You can’t speak to Mr Pearson, sir,’ said the manager.
‘Oh,’ said Salahadin in surprise. ‘Why not?’
